BBC trained studio support engineer, who honed his craft at Broadcasting House and Maida Vale, and is widely considered one of the foremost authorities on reel-to-reel format in the UK, Iain Betson (Reel Resilience) will be joining our in-house chief engineer Chris Jones for 2 days of masterclasses in recording to analogue tape.
Using the studio's pristine condition MCI JH-24 2" tape 4 track machine, Iain and Chris will take you through the demystifying processes of using tape in a session.
The days will focus on artistic considerations and operations.
